Ciao! We’re Alyssa and Katie.

Six years ago, we met on a group trip in Europe. We didn’t know it at the time, but that trip would lead to a friendship that has taken us across the world—and eventually to Floating Monday.

We live in different states, so staying connected takes a little creativity. Our solution? We make it a priority to plan at least one trip together every year, whether that means visiting each other’s cities or meeting somewhere new. Somewhere along the way, we realized that some of our favorite memories weren’t just about where we went, but about the people we met along the way.

That’s where Floating Monday comes in.

Sometimes you need to give yourself permission to step away from the routine, take the Monday off, and go somewhere new. We created Floating Monday for people who would rather be making memories than sitting at their desks—and who don’t want a lack of travel companions to keep them from going.

As working professionals ourselves, we know how difficult it can be to find friends whose schedules, budgets, and travel dreams line up. Group trips gave us a way to keep exploring, meet new people, and make memories we never would have made on our own. We loved the experience so much that we wanted to create it for others.

Our trips are designed to feel less like a tour and more like traveling with a group of friends. We’ll take you to the places you’ve always wanted to see, add a few unexpected twists along the way, and create plenty of opportunities to connect with the people you’re traveling with.
